KEY PERSONNEL

André van der Merwe
André is Head of the Mining Studies department. He has 28 years’ experience in the mineral industry, ranging from grass-roots exploration, through to project development and mining. André has been in senior positions, both in industry and consulting, since 1997. He has successfully managed large projects and has advised clients during many corporate transactions and listings on international bourses, as well as private fund raisings.

André has a particularly strong background in Mineral Asset Valuation, reporting into all the major mining jurisdictions.

Philip Mostert
Philip is a geologist with 13 years’ experience, initially on deep level Witwatersrand gold mines where he managed major capital surface and underground exploration. He spent 6 years at Eskom SOC Pty (Ltd)’s Primary Energy Division, where he was involved in numerous technical evaluations and management of coal supply agreements. In his capacity as Senior Manager: Technical Services at Eskom he was accountable for management of all technical disciplines (geology, coal quality control and assurance, mining, electrical and mechanical engineering).
