Craig Blane – Head of Geology

Craig has over 15 years’ experience in the exploration sector spanning target generation stages to resource drilling stages. Craig’s experience has a strong emphasis on management and interpretation of both geochemical surveys and drilling programmes. Craig has a strong interest in geochemistry and has managed or been involved in nine geochemical sampling programmes in DRC, Zambia, Burundi, Saudi Arabia, Uganda, Mongolia. Craig also lectured the Exploration Geochemistry module for the Masters in Mineral Exploration for Rhodes University in 2016 and 2017. Craig has worked on a variety of commodities and deposit types including orogenic gold deposits, magmatic and lateritic PGE-Ni deposits, layered magmatic deposits for chromitite, magnetite and PGM ores, stratiform copper deposits, IOCG, epithermal and placer gold deposits.
